Five Great Pencils That Make You Want to Own Them

Although I’m honestly more of an ink person, I can’t argue that pencils are absolutely fantastic as well.

Especially when they’re cool.

GadgetSharp has a list of “special” pencils, and here are my favorites:

1. A Seed of a Pencil [link]

A Seed of a Pencil
You use this pencil as you would a regular pencil, and when its done, you plant the last part and a seed grows in its place.

2. Pre-chewed pencils by concentrate [link]

A pre-chewed pencil to save you the time you’d spend chewing. Haha. That’s hilarious. Do you chew on your pencils? :)

3. Drumstick pencil designed by moko sellars [link]

Brilliant, though I’m not sure how comfortable a person would be drumming while a sharp lead butt is digging into his palm. Regardless, I can think of many people who would have killed for such a contrapment in highschool. Moose used to be in his school’s marching band, and he always tell me stories of how he  used to practice on his desk using a pencil.

4. Peg Pencil [link]

This is my favorite pencil on the list. It’s brilliant!

5. Quad–Colored Jumbo Pencils [link]

I’m only putting this one because it reminded me of my childhood. Apparently, it’s special enough to be put in a special list, so I guess they don’t make them as much anymore. Or do they?

Yea, mainly an ink person as well. I agree that the peg pencils the coolest, but I see myself losing it the first time the led pushed up. Snap, right then and there. Before I forget, what a great place for the word “though” in your last response. Golden. :P

1 and 4 are my personal faves… I don’t like #2, since I do not chew my pencils nor do I desire anyone else to do it for me.
