Have you heard of Samo Soviet?
I definitely have, a lot actually, over the past couple of years. Who exactly is Samo Soviet, I have no effing clue.
Let me clarify: Samo Soviet is always popping up in my digital life. Mutual friends, people who are in his fanclub, and the most random links. Somehow, I’m constantly ending up on his Facebook fanpage.
His fanpage actually has 2,500 fans, which is a LOT given that it doesn’t really appear like he does anything. His website also has some content, with an active guestbook. It claims that he’s a musician, a model, a designer, a rocker, a movie-maker, and obviously (although not explicitly written), an emo. He’s definitely Amman’s most popular emo, and weirdest online fixation.
Well, whoever Samo Soviet is, I gotta give it to him that he’s doing social media in this little city of ours better than anyone else I know. Jordan’s very own Mahir.

he shows up on every ones digital life, and i gotta say it, ppl doesnt search for him, but he does!!! yes!!

i didnt see anything of that actually, except of a Birthday metal version, he said that he wrote the notes of it and he showed up on some lebanon TV and he’s playing it with only one guitar and, but u can actualy hear a whole band is playing!!, but how its possible that i heard it over 5 yeas ago from another artist!!
oh and there’s a film he MADE!! about jordan, a shots been taken by Some filmamking company, he had putted a copyright over it…..
but over all, i have nothing against him!! he’s my friend’s friend :D

He is half Arab half Russian and his main activity is photographing “as I've heard "..

I met this dude a couple of times in events and in other places, Until now i actually have no idea why he is so popular, And your right he is everywhere online, And check out any event page on facebook, He has to come and write on it’s wall, Goodluck or wow nice or any of these words.
He has a group on facebook called AMMAN and it has over 18,000 people and he takes pictures and add them there.
Most of his fans are girls!
Weird how someone as him who do NOTHING get so popular.

I love this post. Yes, Mr Soviet appeared on my facebook social network too and I always wondered who he is. Not that this post gets us any further to the truth of the matter.

I personally beleive, that when someone promotes themselves that much, they would have atleast something good to back it up (if we’re talking true talents, photography,modelling, acting and whatever else he says he does )
and I don’t think this Samo (whatever the real name is) has anything to do that.
unless we’re talking pictures taken with a cell phone camera lense. add the logo. and zer yew go-h!
and this article is just going to give him another 15 minutes of fame, and that’s probably what he wants, attention.
