Why I haven’t been updating
While I insist that Eid is the lamest excuse for a vacation ever, I still managed to have a very good time with the family (that extends to funny degrees), as well as eat more meat than I have eaten in a while :)
Hope your Eid is being as lovely as mine (or Thanksgiving, or weekend, or whatever it is you’re currently celebrating).
A few pictures just to let you know what I mean:
Now that that is said and done, I should be back shortly, as soon as I’m done getting my neurons tangled up with Twilight, as soon as I’m done kissing cheeks.

Now that’s one friendly looking posse! Just watched an episode of The Arab Street on Al Jazeera English about Amman, pretty good. If that sounds even remotely interesting, It’ll be posted on their YouTube channel soon.

We do a jam3a on the Eid’s morning or evening, for like 3 or 4 hours,
after that, a redundant point to multi point connection is made (in addition to the already made multi point to multi point connections in jam3at el 3eeleh).
resulting in scene where just before leaving my aunt’s house ending a point to (one of the points in a) multi point connection, and just on the door step waving goodbyes she will say wait ! Take us with you ! we are coming to visit you ! lol
I call it Nefaq Ejtema3i..

Mesh: your comment made me LOL and I don’t LOL often! I guess there is some Nefaq Ejtema3i in my family as well; they usually wait a couple of hrs in between visits..

What’s so weird!! You’ve never seen a monkey wearing glasses and carrying a baby? Maybe you should try getting off your knees every now and then.
