Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind

The Simpsons is one of the best shows ever cause it never got culturally stuck. It is still cool, still funny, still relevant, even to those of us who were too young to watch TV when it first came out (I was four years old).

Here’s one of my favorite ever Simpson’s segments (though I couldn’t find it with the original music).

What’s your favorite Simpson’s moment?

Too many classic moment’s to just pic one, so I’ll go with the whole “Lisa the skeptic” episode. Every scene makes me keel over from laughter! It just hits my skeptical heart dead center. Now that’s some marketing!

Chris, I never watched that one. I’m currently loading it to watch though :) Thanks for the recommendation.
My favorite skeptical cartoon is when Brian in Family Guy proclaims his beliefs (or lackthereof). It’s so funny that the only rational member of that family is the dog.

Yea, she’s my favorite also. Lisa and I are like two peas in a pod. They all have their moments though.

Prepare for the end, the end of high prices!

u do realize that this whole segment is a parody of a popular viral video of a girl who took a pic of herself every day for 3 years in a row, and it was basically in the same way, her face fixed with her background and clothing changing in the photos as she visually became older :D

here is the link to it

Chris, the episode is awesome BTW. I was just having a similar debate as the one Lisa has with Marge a couple of days ago.

Mando, that’s why it’s funny :) They’re so smart right?

Zeena, lol, I don’t think I know that.

My favorite is Mr. Burns, he’s hilarious

There’s one time when a motivational speaker is asking them about their problems and Mr. Burns gets up and says: “I’m too nice”

Or when they asked Mr. Burns about the cause of death of his parents and he said: they got into my way

Or when Homer was telling him that he’s the richest man he’s known and he said: Yes, but I’ll trade it all for a little bit more

There’s also a funny bit when Homer causes an accident, he looks in the rear view mirror and see the car he caused to crash, so he just tilts the mirror to the side and sees deers grazing, so he sighs in relief!! Denial at its best
