Where did you sit in class?

http://www.phdcomics.com/comics/archive/phd051608s.gif

In highschool, just like a true nerd, I always sat in the front row, sometimes even on the floor infront of the front row if there was no space in the front row.

At college, I didn’t find most of my courses challenging so I always sat close to the door towards the middle, with a book placed inside my course textbooks so that I could entertain myself. In studio classes, I sat at computers facing the wall, so that the teachers wouldn’t see me browse.

Where did you sit at school?

Hehe…i donno about me…at school it didn’t really matter…coz i was tall and i was always seated in the back by the teachers…
Now at uni…i sit in the back…so i can doodle on my text book as i can…i guess i don’t have any motive for me to sit in front …i mean…i can hear in the back as i can hear and see in the front…i just can’t doodle as i want in the front :P

    Liked the drawing.

Back in high school I used to be ‘too cool for school’ kind of guy, now I regret it. But now in university there’s only 3 of us, so I have no escape wherever my seat is!

highschool I was nerdy too. I liked to sit middle and dead center.

now in Uni i either sit second or third frow for accounting classes or near the door for idiotic easy classes (all others)

Love the post…I am a teacher and i can honestly say what a difference it makes where my students sit in my classes :-) some want to sit at the front (teachers pet) and others just want to sit far away as possible to avoid any distractions from the teacher:-)
I always sat at the back by the way:-)

At my school we had a rotation system whereby each row had to go one row forward each week. Once at the front you then got to go to the very back again, the row of sandwich nibblers and doodlers. I guess it was quite a fair system although I didn’t always particularly like sitting at the front, especially on Monday morning.

    Hehe, I loved that!
We had assigned seating in school. Sometimes we had to rotate every week!
Now, in uni, midway in the third row is my most comfortable spot:)

I sat in the front too, but only because I used to wear glasses. Of course in math class anyone on the first row was subjected to random rainfall since the teacher couldn’t lecture without spitting. No wonder I grew up hating calculus.

I am always in the first or second row. If you were sitting in the back row in Vietnamese univesity, you better to say at home since the further from the teacher, the noisier vietnamese students make.
