Of course in math class anyone on the first row was subjected to random rainfall since the teacher couldn't lecture without spitting. No wonder I grew up hating calculus. Once at the front you then got to go to the very back again, the row of sandwich nibblers and doodlers. I guess it was quite a fair system although I didn't always particularly like sitting at the front, especially on Monday morning.
