Why the Nine Inch Nails rock

After the brilliant Radiohead move, the Nine Inch Nails are following suite with their latest album “Ghosts.”

In March, the Nine Inch Nails released their album ‘Ghosts’ under a non-commercial Creative Commons license, meaning that it can be shared freely. The band confirmed that they had uploaded the album themselves to sites like The Pirate Bay, Waffles.fm and What.cd.

Even better yet, thanks to the Nine Inch Nails, the free music vibe is going to get a fresh boost today. A brand new track from the band entitled “Echoplex”, is now available for free download on Facebook. Yes, Facebook.

If that’s not cool…

It’s even better! You can download the full new album “The Slip” here: http://dl.nin.com/theslip

Totally free and under a Creative Commons license which allows remixing the songs - that’s great.

Its Nine Inch Nails, not ‘the’ Nine Inch Nails. And it is a He, not ‘They’. It is a one man band, trent reznor only brings some guys from here and there just to perform live. Try and research a bit before posting about someone you don’t listen to. That is simply not to sound like an idiot and a know-it all. No offense. Cheers.

NIN is without doubt one of the best live shows out there, to me they are better performers than Metallica for example. even the fans are unique an awsome bunch to be around…..I didnt realize people, other than myself still listened to them…the perfect drug….

first, they are nine inch nails, they rock even without thata
and second, i think limpbizkit was the first one to do such a thing with his last album , he just sat down on the internet, and started feeding it, without announcing or anything
ppl are moving to open license more and more, its the 21st century, open up or die !
