Here’s a German cartoon depicting the latest of e-battles. Personally, I’d hate to see Yahoo! taken over by Microsoft. What do you think?

I think that Google is somehow over-rated. Yahoo! is way much better, at least for me!!
So yes it will be sad if Microsoft took over.
Ah.. and in the cartoon the Yahoo! guy looks geeky! hehehe I love that!

They couldn’t make the Microsoft guy look like Bill Gates? As it is, the Yahoo! guy looks more like Bill.

    mmm… very expressive cartoon !

yeah you’re absolutely right about your feelings ! It’s a shame that the Microsoft guys just want everything to belong to them .. as if they don’t have what’s enough already!

Too bad, I would have prefered if google took over yahoo instead.

I was a yahoo person myself up until google mail beta first came up and a friend sent me an invite.

I immediately switched and never looked back for the following reason:

    1. Gmail brough large mail boxes when yahoo and Hotmail were offering peanuts. Of course other prviders were offering large mailboxes before gmail, but they’re to small to count.

    2. Gmail has only text ads. Yahoo has full flash animations which are totally distracting and annoying whil reading mail.

    3. Gmail allowed free smtp and pop mail access to their accounts when yahoo was making people pay for it.

I never really game Hotmail a chance, so I don’t have any opinion either way.
