Mindset

I came across this really funny list of the different mindsets of students who graduated in different years. Take for example, some excerpts from Mindset 2007, which is the year I graduated:

  1. Iraq has always been a problem.
  2. “Ctrl + Alt + Del” is as basic as “ABC.”
  3. Bert and Ernie are old enough to be their parents.
  4. An automatic is a weapon, not a transmission.
  5. There has always been a screening test for AIDS.
  6. Computers have always fit in their backpacks.
  7. Datsuns have never been made.
  8. They have never gotten excited over a telegram, a long distance call, or a fax.
  9. Test tube babies are now having their own babies.
  10. They can still sing the rap chorus to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and the theme song from Duck Tales.

The earliest list was done for 2002, which means you sort of missed the boat if you were born before 1980 :)

I’d say I doubt 6. – they did, but these laptops were never fast enough for my games :) (and I’m too young for this list).

This list reminds of the other day when I was walking near the home when a couple of guys who were up to no good, started making trouble in my neighborhood, I got in one little fight and my mom got scared she said you’re movin with your auntie and uncle in bel air. I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror if anything I can say this cab is rare but I thought na forget it yo homes to bel air! I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie yo homes smell ya later I looked at my kingdom I was finally there to sit on my throne as the prince of bel air.

Ok, make me feel old, why don’t you? None of this list applies to me.
