Jordan ICT Forum
I’m currently at the Dead Sea at Jordan’s ICT Forum, which, from their website, is “the Kingdom’s premier international information and communications technology industry event, held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II. The Forum brings together over 1,000 regional and international ICT leaders and professionals to compare progress made to date, share lessons learned, and acts as a gateway for international, regional and local ICT leaders to network and explore the myriad of opportunities available in Jordan and across the regional ICT market.”
It is still early so the agenda (which I’m not sure how I feel towards) didn’t start yet. There are many familiar faces (naturally), and the speaker list seems to be interesting.
More later.

What’s interesting is that I’m studying communications engineering at JU , and not a single doctor told us anything about that, absolutely no one is talking about it inside the faculty, and not a single advertisement in the whole faculty, I mean not even a piece of news on the clipboards! Cute ha?

[...] Might not be as bad waking up to find your car murdered, but waking up with a long day planned ahead to a sore throat and headache is quite a terrible deal. I decided it doesn’t matter and tried my best to ignore but I was extremely spaced out the entire day. It is the first time I go to the Jordan ICT Forum, and I must say, it’s quite different than I expected it to be; I guess I was hoping it would be more “informational” (um, geeky?) and less corporate.
