Pictures from the Championship
Some of the entries are REALLY good, and I can now officially say that I am not the messiest person on earth :) Below are some of the pictures that I recieved so far. You still have a few more days to send me pictures of your messiness if you think you can beat some of these ;) Don’t forget that a card also goes out for the most “livable in” space, which can be neat, messy, or neither, it just has to look cozy, creative, or unique.
Sneak peak of some of the pictures below, and you can see all the images here.

some of these are horrible and disturbing- I’m a bit of a neat freak you see and actually got quite agitated seeing this kind of mayhem. May the neat fairy visit you all!

Roba, I know that you are a fair person, but with members of your family participating I think a panel of judges should be order. i nominate Hala, Lina, Kinzi, Iyas to be the judges :)

As a mom, I’d LOVE to be a judge, thanks for the thought, Ziad. Muhahaha!
I am actually GREATLY encouraged. I thought that my closets (or my husband’s office) would win this competition hands down, since I am a typical messy foreigner. But no!
Hareega, there are other mothers crying out there.
If any of you killed the clean fairy, take heart and visit http://www.flylady.com. She will help you get it all together.

Wow! I thought my house was really messy… I must say, seeing my mess up there with everybody else’s makes me want to call my mom up and demand she be proud that you could still see the floor in my house. It also makes me feel a little better knowing that somewhere out there, someone is making a bigger mess than I.
Thanks ppl!
=)

I would LOVE to be a judge (if, by Hala, you mean ME). However, I would break out in hives and require hospitalization, because I am a neat freak and would hyperventilate in the presence of such messiness.
Still, I would do my best, and try to judge. Then, if you all don’t mind, can I come clean up for you??
Lovely!

Roba I don’t think that you or anyone else would like to see my fifty underwears on the floor laying there above the glass from my 2 lamps i broke last summer while watching the world cup

Hal and Kinzi, fantastic! (Thanks for the suggestion Ziad!) That would give us 4 judges so far, including 2 of my none-blogger friends.
I’ll let you know when the competition is over and each voter can suggest the two most messy people, then I’ll count the votes to see who the messiest person is.

Anonymous & Bakkouz,
You guys have got to be kidding me?!?! do you have anything growing in those piles?! Oh my God! how do you do it?!
btw, I color code my drawers and closet, and books on my shelves are according to subject and in alphabetical order so looking at some of those pictures is traumatizing!

Ok I just have to make this disclaimer for Kinzi:
Kinzi, I did not cheat wallah! my bed is made becuase i don’t sleep on the bed, i sleep on a mattress on the floor! and as for the dirty socks lumps they are visible in the other photo with the shoes !!
I DID NOT CHEAT I SWEAR!!

And I thought I was messy.
But come on, I’m sure many of you cheated and messed up their desks just to win. Right?
Roba
October 8, 2006 @ 7:44 pm
Bakka, why would you sleep on a mattress on the floor when you have a bed…?

Some very interesting ones, I wonder if some played a game attempting to match photos to blogs how that would have gone!
Sent mine thou I have to say with some relief I am not that cocky about winning the messiness contest anymore, there is some strong competition out there :)

Thanks Roba :) It was purchased in Aqaba. I have another small pretty red one that my friend Tjaša managed to destroy before I had the chance to try it out… she somehow managed to twist the metal part completely out of shape because she wanted to see if a part could be removed or not (I can’t figure it out either…).

Keko, are you attempting to butter up Roba by capturing a picture of her site? :) Glad she is not on the panel. Although she is still the prize provider… lol

October 10, 2006 @ 9:46 pm
Ziad d,
Too right, and what’s this about a panel? this shouldn’t be a democracy, I say Roba should be the only judge, I have not stretched my limited artistic abilities for nothing :)
